We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Video Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assembling recorded footage into engaging, high-quality video content that aligns with the Company’s vision and branding. The candidate should possess strong storytelling abilities, technical editing skills, and the ability to work within deadlines.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Edit raw video footage into polished final videos for digital platforms, social media, marketing campaigns, advertisements, and internal communications.
- Add music, sound effects, graphics, subtitles, transitions, and visual effects where required.
- Collaborate with the creative, marketing, and content teams to understand project requirements and deliver compelling visual content.
- Ensure consistency in branding, style, tone, and quality across all video projects.
- Manage and organize video files, assets, and project archives efficiently.
- Review shooting scripts and raw material to create a logical and engaging storyline.
- Stay updated with the latest video editing trends, tools, and techniques.
- Handle multiple projects simultaneously while meeting deadlines.
Requirements :
- Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Video Editing, Multimedia, Mass Communication, Film Production, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Video Editor or similar role.
- Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, After Effects, DaVinci Resolve, or similar tools.
- Strong understanding of video formats, color grading, sound editing, and motion graphics.
- Knowledge of social media video formats and trends.
- Creativity with excellent attention to detail.
- Good communication and time management skills.
- Experience in animation or motion graphics.
- Basic knowledge of photography and videography.
- Familiarity with YouTube, Instagram Reels, and short-form content editing.
